Andra Voldins, viola, is equally active as a teacher and performer in the Boston area. She is on the faculty at the New School of Music, Solomon Schechter School in Newton, Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, and the Milton Public School system. She performs with numerous groups in the area, including the Boston Lyric Opera, the New England String Ensemble, and the Boston Ballet. Ms. Voldins received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Harvard College and a Master of Music degree in viola performance from Boston University's School of Fine Arts. She has also participated in numerous music festivals including Tanglewood, Aspen, Chautauqua, Spoleto (Italy), Kingston Chamber Music Festival, and the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival. |
