| Judith Glixon, cellist, is a graduate of Hartt College of Music. She studied there with Paul Olefsky and David Wells, and with Aldo Parisot at the Yale School of Music. Her coaches in cello and chamber music have included Phoebe Carrai (baroque cello), Carter Brey, Norman Paulu (of the Pro Arte Quartet), and members of the Emerson String Quartet. While living in North Carolina, she was featured frequently with area orchestras, performing concertos by Walton, Saint-Saens, Haydn, and Beethoven (the Triple). For seven years she played with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in Arizona. Her freelancing in New England includes work with the Boston Ballet, Handel Haydn Society, New England String Ensemble, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, Springfield Symphony, Granite State Opera and Prism Opera.
